Welder Specialist

Langfields is a leading engineering company that specializes in the design and manufacture of high-integrity products for various industries, including hydrogen, renewable energy, nuclear, defense, and process industries.

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Salford. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques, a keen attention to detail, and a passion for producing high-quality work.

• Perform welding operations using appropriate techniques and equipment to join metal components accurately.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure the proper alignment and positioning of welded parts.
• Conduct visual inspections of welds to verify quality and integrity, making adjustments as necessary.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues to optimize workflow and meet project deadlines effectively.

• Time served with NVQ L3 or equivalent qualification.
• Competent in TIG/MMA/FCAW/MIG welding processes.
• Experience in a variety of materials such as carbon steels, stainless steels, duplex's & nickel alloy's in multiple positions.
• Previous coding's to ASME IX & EN.
• Pressure Vessel, Pipework, Steelwork & Heat Exchanger Experience.
