We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Optometrist to lead our team in Birkenhead, working 3 days a week.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team, with a competitive salary up to £60K, plus a Welcome Bonus up to £10K and Performance-bonus up to £1200 per quarter.

As a single-testing practice, you will be supported by a team leader, Dispensing optician, Senior Dispensing optician, Senior Optical Consultants and Trainee Optical Consultant. Full pre-screening is carried out by the team on every customer.

The practice is equipped with the latest technology, including OCT, Auto-refractor, and brand-new fields machine.

You will have direct contact with 9 other Optometrists with experience ranging from 3 months' qualified to 35 years qualified. Immediate support by phone/video call is always available.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the team to deliver exceptional patient care and customer service.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and healthcare professionals in the local community.
  3. Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical knowledge and best practices.
  4. Select the best products for each customer.
  5. Ensure the highest standard of clinical care is maintained.

Requirements:

You will need to be a fully qualified GOC registered Optometrist with additional registration with the relevant NHS body. We are looking for a professional with a friendly and approachable personality, who is passionate about delivering excellent patient care.
