Highly Specialist CAMHS Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Highly Specialist CAMHS Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team in Newham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist assessments and treatment interventions for children and young people with complex neurodevelopmental conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct specialist CAMHS assessments for children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions, such as ADHD, autism, and learning disability.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans to address the mental health needs of children and young people.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to children and young people and their families.
- Provide supervision and management to junior clinical staff and contribute to a positive working environment.
- Participate in innovative developments of the Neurodevelopmental Team and contribute to the development of new projects and initiatives.
- Qualification in a relevant mental health or social welfare profession, including Family & Systemic Psychotherapist, Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Psychotherapist, or Occupational Therapist.
- Registration with the relevant professional body, such as UKCP, NMC, or HCP.
- Substantial experience in delivering specialist neurodevelopmental assessments and treatment interventions for children and young people with complex neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency context and with complex networks.
- Ability to work autonomously and set appropriate goals in accordance with professional ethics guidelines and Trust policies.
