Electrical Project Engineer – St Albans

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent after 3 months

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Salary: £40k to £50k depending on experience

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to oversee projects from receipt of contract through to installation and commissioning. The successful candidate will manage all commercial and technical aspects of the projects, attending site meetings with clients and their representatives to discuss project progress and resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee projects from receipt of contract to installation and commissioning
  • Manage all commercial and technical aspects of the projects
  • Attend site meetings with clients and their representatives
  • Collaborate with suppliers to determine suitability of electrical components
  • Work closely with draughting engineers and production team to ensure project requirements are met
  • Design electrical control schematic diagrams
  • Proven experience in design of LV switchgear and package substations
  • Experience in designing electrical control and monitoring systems
  • Ability to create and interpret electrical schematic diagrams
  • Ability to use CAD proficiently for electrical design purposes

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Project Engineer
  • Immediate start
  • Permanent position after 3 months
  • Day shifts
