Responsibilities include executing planned preventative maintenance, addressing reactive breakdowns, and performing maintenance tasks promptly to reduce machinery downtime.

  • Collaborate with engineering management and fellow technicians to resolve breakdowns efficiently and professionally.
  • Conduct both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on production machinery.
  • Work alongside other technicians to maintain and repair production equipment.
  • Comply with company health and safety regulations.
Requirements include a minimum of 3 years of experience as a maintenance technician in sectors such as food production, packaging, manufacturing, or similar industries (essential).

  • A balanced skill set in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs (essential).
  • Completion of an apprenticeship with at least an NVQ level 3 qualification in mechanical and/or electrical engineering (essential).
  • Prior experience in repairing and troubleshooting components such as motors, gearboxes, conveyor systems, converters, inverters, or PLCs (essential).
  • A willingness to learn, share knowledge, and participate in training sessions as required (advantageous).
