Role Overview:

In the role of Construction Site Manager, you will be instrumental in supervising and coordinating on-site activities to guarantee safe, timely, and cost-effective project execution. Your responsibilities will include managing personnel, liaising with clients, and upholding safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and coordinate site operations to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Lead and manage site personnel to promote effective work practices
  • Engage in clear communication with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate project flow
  • Conduct regular site evaluations to assess progress and adherence to standards
  • Address on-site challenges promptly to reduce project interruptions
  • Maintain detailed records of site activities for accurate documentation
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations through ongoing briefings and inspections
  • Assist in project planning and scheduling to optimize resource allocation and timelines
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Construction Site Manager in the construction or drainage sector
  • Strong leadership and management capabilities with effective communication skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and proactive decision-making skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and project management software
  • Valid UK driving licence
Qualifications:
  • Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Professional certification from a recognized construction or engineering body (preferred)
