We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Acute Medicine Doctor Consultant to join our team at University Hospitals Birmingham. As a key member of our Medical Division, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in quality improvement, audit, and research initiatives to drive excellence in patient care
- Provide cover for consultant colleagues during periods of leave, in accordance with Trust policy
- Support the speciality and wider hospital in emergencies, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and collaboration
- Contribute to the development of our services, including the design and implementation of new initiatives
- Must be on the Specialist Register in General Medicine or within 6 months of CCT in General Medicine
- Regular participation in quality improvement, audit, and research
- Provision of cover for consultant colleagues' periods of leave
- Support of the speciality and wider hospital in emergencies
