We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our team as the Head of Strategic Partnerships. This is a key role that will play a critical part in driving our business forward and building strong relationships with our vendors and distributors.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a strategic partnership plan that aligns with our business objectives and customer needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and distributors, identifying opportunities for growth and collaboration.
- Work closely with our sales and account management teams to ensure alignment and effective communication with our customers.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that our solutions meet customer needs and drive business growth.
- Manage and optimize our commercial model to ensure net profitability, cash flow, operational impact, and commercial risk are all considered.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of key industry technology trends, customer needs, and solutions.
- Build and execute go-to-market strategies with vendors and distributors to drive sales and revenue growth.
- Assist in negotiations to achieve successful outcomes for large value transactions.
- Control costs in line with project and budgetary expectations.
- Proven experience in building relationships across an organization and driving business growth through strategic partnerships.
- Strong understanding of key industry technology trends, customer needs, and solutions.
- Experience in building go-to-market strategies with vendors and distributors.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to persuade and influence.
- Good understanding and knowledge of key vendor technologies, programs, and reward structures.
- Experience of sales in Software, Hardware, Security, Cloud, Managed Services, and ITAM.
- Vendor relationships and an excellent knowledge of key partners including Microsoft, Dell, and Cisco.
- Understanding of technologies that will disrupt the market in future years.
- Ability to set a vision and drive teams to achieve goals in a considered and effective way.
- Experience of managing budgets and improving bottom line margin.
- Experience of global supply chain management, cross-border logistics, and operations.
