Job Title: 1st / 2nd Line - IT Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Engineer to join our team at Mackenzie Jones IT. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance of our IT systems, network, and communications infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to our users, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Maintain and upgrade our IT systems, network, and communications infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Deploy and manage end-user hardware, including provisioning, updates, security, connectivity, and configuration.
  • Support our AV systems, including meeting rooms, touch screen TVs, projectors, audio/visual devices, printers, and photocopiers.
  • Manage our MS365 instance, MS Teams, and SharePoint, including administration and technical support.
  • Provide end-user support and training on IT software, systems, and processes.
  • Participate in the IT budgeting process and IT strategy.
  • Manage licenses and support contracts for hardware and software.
Requirements:
  • 1st/2nd line IT support engineer experience with system administration.
  • Experience supporting VIP and end-users, approximately 50 users at Head Office.
  • Office 365, Windows 10/11 support experience.
  • MacOS and iOS devices support experience.
  • JAMF Pro and Intune experience.
  • Support of end-user devices, including Windows, laptops, desktops, iPads, and tablets.
  • Hardware and software support, including installation, configuration, and deployment.
  • Windows Server knowledge, including AD, DNS, DHCP, and VMware.
  • Networking knowledge, including switches, routes, wireless AP, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, VLAN, VPN, SSL, and IPSec.
  • Media audio/visual devices experience, including projectors and interactive displays.
  • Security experience, including firewalls, AV, web filters, and security policies.
  • VOIP comms and other telephony support.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, combined with a proactive approach.
Working Hours:

Onsite role, 9:00am - 5:30pm, with some flexibility to work from home occasionally.
