About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Security Researcher to join our team at NCC Group. As a key member of our Exploit Development Group, you will be responsible for advancing the state of the art in vulnerability research and exploitation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives related to platforms and capabilities
  • Support professional and managed services teams in achieving their goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality work and meet deadlines
  • Act as a subject matter expert and mentor junior team members
  • Produce and support the promotion of our vulnerability discovery and exploitation capabilities
  • Provide tactical capability in support of client project work
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in security research, including vulnerability discovery and exploitation
  • Mastery of vulnerability research and exploitation technical competencies
  • Expertise in major CPU architectures and operating systems/platforms
  • Expertise in reverse engineering for unmanaged and managed languages
  • Expertise in major programming languages, their vulnerability classes, and exploitation thereof
  • Ability to understand, research, and exploit unfamiliar instruction sets, programming languages, and platforms
  • Exemplary problem-solving and lateral thinking abilities
  • High-level of professionalism

  • Ability to lead teams and multi-faceted projects effectively
