We are seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join our Out of Hours District Nursing team at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering evidence-based nursing care to patients with complex and continuing health care needs. This will involve assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating programmes of care according to the District Nurse assessment criteria.
The ideal candidate will have a range of clinical skills, including the ability to undertake skilled clinical nursing procedures and provide clinical advice. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The role will involve working Monday to Sunday, with a 17-hour permanent part-time contract covering evening and night shifts. The successful candidate will be required to travel independently across the Trust and will need to be able to speak English to an appropriate level.
