About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Maths Teacher to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a key member of our educational staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering tailored maths instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging maths lessons that cater to the diverse needs of SEN students.
  • Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support each student's unique learning requirements.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and adapting teaching methods as needed.
  • Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth.
  • Stay updated on the latest SEN teaching practices and incorporate them into your teaching methods.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed.).
  • Proven experience teaching mathematics, with a strong understanding of SEN strategies and practices.
  • Ability to create and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for students with a range of abilities.
  • Relevant SEN training or experience is highly desirable.
