Park Safety Officer - Meadow Bay Villages
The Security division at Meadow Bay Villages is seeking a Park Safety Officer to support the Security Manager in ensuring a secure and safe atmosphere for all visitors, staff, and others who may be impacted by our operations.
Employment Type: Seasonal – Full Time / Part Time hours available
Compensation: £12.22 per hour
Work Schedule: Shifts consist of 4 days on, 4 days off, followed by 4 nights on and 4 days off. Each shift lasts 12 hours, either from 6am to 6pm or from 6pm to 6am.
Qualifications: SIA certification preferred and a valid driving license is essential.

Role Overview:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborating effectively with team members and valuing the importance of teamwork.
- Engaging with our guests to understand their needs and responding promptly, adhering to our customer service standards.
- Establishing a secure environment through a visible and positive security presence.
- Conducting regular patrols of the area on foot and by vehicle.
- Communicating information efficiently, fostering strong relationships with colleagues and other departments.
- Responding to security alarms and alerts.
- Observing behavior and de-escalating any potential disturbances.
- Monitoring sound levels and taking necessary actions when required.
- Assisting with late arrivals at accommodations and reception.
- Coordinating gas bottle deliveries as needed.
- Maintaining a security log, documenting all incidents accurately.
- Providing local information to both team members and guests.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid SIA badge is mandatory.
- A full driving license is required.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
