Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Adult Phlebotomist to join our team at The Boots Company PLC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our phlebotomy services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Care: Warmly welcome patients, verify their details, and provide clear explanations of the phlebotomy procedure to ensure a positive experience.
  2. Clerical Support: Manage administrative tasks, including coordinating appointment bookings and maintaining stock levels of essential materials to ensure seamless service delivery.
  3. Sample Collection: Take and maintain venous blood samples from patients with precision and care.
  4. Healthcare Support: Provide valuable support to patients and customers, including offering informed advice on healthcare products and services.
  5. Training and Development: Complete an NVQ2 Healthcare training program to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: Previous experience as a Phlebotomist is desirable, but we will consider applicants without experience and provide full training.
  2. Passion for Healthcare: Be passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and customer service.
  3. Flexibility: Be prepared to work weekends and adapt to changing circumstances.
