Forklift Driver Job Description

Hales Group Limited is seeking a skilled Forklift Driver to join our team in Lowestoft. As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a counterbalance forklift truck to move stock around the site, supply production with materials, and monitor stock levels.

Main Duties:
  • Counterbalance Forklift Operation: Safely operate a counterbalance forklift truck to move stock around the site.
  • Stock Management: Monitor stock levels and record appropriately.
  • Material Supply: Supply production with materials as required.
  • Warehouse Operations: Collect material and move to stores or load onto lorries.
Requirements:
  • Valid Certified Counterbalance Licence: Possess a valid certified counterbalance licence.
  • Full UK Drivers Licence: Hold a full UK drivers licence.
  • Experience: Have experience of operating a forklift, ideally within a manufacturing setting.

Working Hours: 6am-3pm / 9am-6pm, Monday to Friday

Pay: £12.56 per hour

Duration: Temporary to Permanent
