Clinical Service Manager - Acute Mental Health Hospital

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Service Manager to join our team at a leading provider of health and social care services for people with mental health needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of healthcare professionals and ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical and therapeutic care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality clinical and therapeutic care
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, quality standards, and key performance indicators
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the hospital's strategy as part of the Senior Management team
  • Provide operational and clinical leadership to the wider staff group in support of the Hospital Manager

Requirements:

  • A relevant nursing qualification (RMN or RNLD trained) with at least 2 years of managerial experience
  • NMC registration
  • Proven track record in leading teams and senior practice-based work
  • Expertise in setting, monitoring, and evaluating standards for high-quality care
  • Competent in preparing and presenting reports to senior management
  • Experience in establishing therapeutic boundaries with high-risk patients requiring advanced interventions
  • Preferably experienced in working within acute and/or PICU settings
  • Proficient in working with partner organisations, commissioners, and external stakeholders
