Assistant Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking an ambitious and career-driven Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Intersect Global Ltd. About the Role

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will work on a utility framework and report to the Senior QS. You will assist with managing a number of schemes at any given time, with a combined value of £10M. Projects will be civil engineering schemes in the water sector, such as gravity-fed sewers and pumping stations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Subcontract management and cost reporting
  • Generating and reporting weekly revenue and cost reports
  • Controlling submissions of daily completed jobs
  • Supporting the authorisation and submission of project variations
  • Liaising with Operations & Planning to monitor job progress and scope changes
  • Assisting management with the subcontractor supply chain
Requirements

To be considered, you will need to be educated to HNC/BSc Quantity Surveying and have experience working on civil engineering, utility, or power projects in the UK. An excellent understanding of NEC contracts is essential.
