Branded Supply Chain Planner

Job Summary
This role is responsible for managing and controlling inventory of materials to support Laboratory Operations and Quality Control release testing. The successful candidate will work closely with Supply Chain, Facilities, Quality, and External Suppliers to ensure the smooth operation of the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a warehouse inventory system and resupply requirements in line with production schedules.
- Collaborate with Warehouse, Manufacturing, and Finance teams to ensure the supply of materials is available per production schedule for quality control release testing requirements.
- Request quotes from vendors based on production plans and testing schedules, and manage purchase requisition approvals for purchase order creation.
- Track purchase orders to ensure delivery prior to the need-by date.
- Manage inventory and the transfer of chemicals/consumables to support laboratory operations per forecast and consumption.
Additional Responsibilities
- Assist Finance in establishing safety stocks for single-sourced components.
- Support the facilities team in the day-to-day operation of the facility.
- Liaise with multiple functions to establish alternate suppliers.
- Manage the cycle count program.
- Assist with investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and Change Controls representing Supply Chain.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent minimum requirement.
- Minimum 2 years of supply chain experience.
- Knowledge and experience of using ERP systems.
- Team player with a high level of flexibility and ability to work towards common goals inter-departmentally and cross-functionally.
- Effective communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Computer literacy (including MS Office, Word, and Excel).
Location
- This role is based at the Milton Park facility and typically has a 5-day on-site expectation.
