Adecco is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Production Operative to join our team in Irvine. This is a 6-month contract, with the potential to become permanent.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the production facility is in a clean and audit-ready state, adhering to Quality Assurance, Health & Safety, Environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Complete all documentation in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (EXCiPACT GMP) and utilize SAP for electronic batch documentation.
- Verify scales are in specification prior to use using appropriate check weights.
- Assemble and disassemble automated packaging equipment, including torque, banding, labeling, and shrink-wrapping machines.
- Operate automated packing lines for final packaging of bottles.
- Perform torque and volume checks as necessary.
- Operate manual filling equipment and use integrated software for liquid media bag dispense to fulfill production schedule requirements.
- Assemble and disassemble equipment required for non-sterile dispense processes and for cleaning and re-processing.
- Fills non-sterile finished product amounts within the required tolerances into the appropriate packaging.
- Take samples as required, meeting internal QC and customer requirements.
- Prioritize workload to allow effective completion in order to meet the Production Schedule and communicate any delays to the Supervisor or Senior Technician.
- Report any deviations from procedures or processes to the Senior Technician or Supervisor.
- Complete accident and incident reports as necessary.
- Participate in EH&S responsibilities for all functions performed within Production.
- Participate in risk assessment and root cause analysis evaluation activities as required.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives relating to production activities.
- Experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with specific reference to batch processing.
- EXCiPACT GMP experience.
- Attention to detail.
- SAP experience is desirable.
The working hours for this role are 7am - 7pm and 7pm - 7am.
