Job Description

**Job Title:** CNC Workshop Manager

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced CNC shop floor Supervisor to lead an aerospace engineering workshop.

Key Responsibilities
  1. **Supervise and Coordinate Workshop Activities:** Oversee the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring smooth execution of projects and timely completion of tasks.
  2. **Manufacturing and Maintenance:** Ensure the efficient use of CNC machines for the production and maintenance of aerospace components.
  3. **Team Development and Training:** Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to workshop personnel, including CNC machinists, to enhance their performance and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  4. **Compliance and Quality:** Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards in the workshop environment.
  5. **Collaboration and Communication:** Work closely with engineering and production teams to prioritize and schedule work orders based on operational and customer requirements.
Requirements
  1. **Proven Supervisory Experience:** A minimum of [X] years of experience in a supervisory role within an engineering workshop, preferably in the aerospace industry.
  2. **CNC Machine Proficiency:** Proficiency with CNC machines, as well as familiarity with CAD/CAM software.
  3. **Lean Manufacturing Knowledge:** Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and a commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive work environment.
Working Conditions

As the CNC Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the workshop, collaborating with the team on project planning and execution, conducting performance evaluations, and actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

**Working Hours:** Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4:00pm, Friday 7:30am - 12:00pm (39 hours per week)

**Salary:** £24 per hour, depending on experience, equating to £48,672 per annum
