Position Summary

This role is situated within the Procurement department, directly reporting to the Head of Procurement. The primary objective of this position is to deliver exceptional support to Operations through the strategic procurement of essential services and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the activities of Buyers and Procurement Administrators, including the distribution of tasks.
- Manage the complete procurement cycle for goods and services that facilitate operations for projects and internal functions.
- Conduct effective negotiations, place orders, and monitor purchase orders to ensure compliance with value, quality, and specifications.
- Utilize procurement software to create orders and analyze data for reporting purposes.
- Implement Category Management for assigned product categories.
- Expedite orders as necessary.
- Coordinate the procurement of materials to the main distribution center.
- Participate in project-related meetings with relevant stakeholders.
- Assist the Head of Procurement with the acquisition of high-value materials.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience in Construction, Civil Engineering, Utilities, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant IT tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform well under pressure.
- Demonstrates initiative and the capacity to propose innovative ideas.
