Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks throughout the facility, including classrooms, administrative areas, hallways, restrooms, and shared spaces.
  • Regularly disinfect high-contact surfaces in line with health and safety protocols.
  • Manage waste disposal, ensuring proper sorting and recycling practices are followed.
  • Maintain flooring by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as necessary.
  • Restock supplies in restrooms and other locations, including soap, hand sanitizer, and toilet paper.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a cleaning role, especially within an educational or similar setting, is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Understanding of effective cleaning techniques and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail, dependability, and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours when needed, including during school breaks for thorough cleaning.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with staff and peers.
