Position Overview

LAW Absolute is seeking a qualified legal professional to join a prominent public sector organization dedicated to overseeing the conduct of healthcare practitioners. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with fitness to practise standards and will be a permanent position.

The successful candidate will primarily engage in the initial phases of case assessment and investigation, collaborating with team members throughout the fitness to practise framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of fitness to practise matters, including complex and high-profile cases.
  • Review and enhance internal policies to ensure adherence to legal standards.
  • Work within a dynamic in-house legal team, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the organization.
  • Attend the office regularly to facilitate teamwork and communication.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives with a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience.
  • Proven experience in regulatory law, particularly in fitness to practise contexts.
  • Willingness to commute to the office as required.

The starting salary for this position is competitive, with potential increases following a successful probationary period.
