The Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Property Surveyor to join our integrated property team at Hampshire County Council. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a range of property projects, providing expert advice and services to the County Council and its partners.

Your focus will be on property rationalisations, acquisitions, disposals, landlord & tenant and property management. You will work closely with our team to achieve operational and strategic objectives and outcomes, ensuring the effective management of our 7,000 buildings on 1,500 sites.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong project leadership and excellent communication and negotiation skills. You will be able to work effectively in a collaborative environment, promoting an excellent work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage property projects, including property rationalisations, acquisitions, disposals, landlord & tenant and property management.
  • Provide expert advice and services to the County Council and its partners.
  • Work closely with our team to achieve operational and strategic objectives and outcomes.
  • Ensure the effective management of our 7,000 buildings on 1,500 sites.
