ASL Technical is a leading automotive manufacturer seeking a talented individual to join their Interior CPM & Trim Design Lead Engineering team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Automotive Interior Console and Trim Engineer to lead our design team in creating innovative and high-quality interior console and trim designs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Engineering: Develop and implement design concepts for interior console and trim components, ensuring compliance with regional regulatory requirements.
  • Supplier Management: Create and review RFQs, evaluating supplier concepts for cost and quality.
  • Regulatory Performance: Ensure that all designs meet or exceed regulatory standards.
  • Test Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of designs to ensure quality and performance.
  • Quality Reporting: Maintain accurate records of design and testing processes.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless design and production processes.
Requirements:
  • Design/Engineering Qualification: Possess a relevant design or engineering qualification.
  • Expertise: Have expertise in global design, supplier management, regulatory performance, test validation, quality reporting, market analysis, and cross-functional teamwork.
  • CAD Skills: Possess CAD skills and experience with time management.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
