Job Title: Library Assistant

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of organization and attention to detail. As a Library Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the library team, including maintaining accurate records, processing library materials, and assisting with library programs and events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the library team, including maintaining accurate records and processing library materials.
  • Assist with library programs and events, including setup, execution, and cleanup.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of library policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with library staff to achieve goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and library software.
Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, working 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
