About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Mechanical Maintenance Team on a 6-month contract. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the site is maintained to the required standard and can continue to run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair work on site, identifying and rectifying any failures in service and equipment defects.
  • Conduct risk assessments associated with all maintenance duties and raise relevant work permit requests.
  • Complete scheduled maintenance, review maintenance procedures, and ensure information is accurate, complete, and relevant.
  • Work independently to complete tasks and contribute to the overall efficiency of the site.
Requirements
  • A time-served Maintenance Technician with a mechanical fitter background or proven mechanical skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use a computer for allocating, receiving, and providing feedback on maintenance work.
  • A background in instrument or electrical trade is beneficial, particularly in the chemical, petrochemical, or oil and gas industry.
