Key Responsibilities

- Provide guidance to patients visiting the Pharmacy on the safe and effective use of their medications, including potential side effects they may encounter during treatment.

- Utilize the Pharmacy stock management computer system and other technological tools in all Pharmacy areas. Be proficient in the operation of the Robotic Dispensing system, when applicable, with the capability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as necessary.

- Offer practical support and advice to team members regarding the management of monthly Controlled Drug stock audits, ensuring adherence to correct procedures and maintaining a clear audit trail.

- Participate in Quality Improvement initiatives, including dispensary audits, which involve planning, communication, data input and analysis, and report generation.

- Process prescriptions from patients and staff, including handling payments for prescription charges.

  • Proficiency in using the Cerner Millennium Electronic Prescribing System.
  • Candidates with experience in Community Pharmacy may also be considered.
