Job Summary:

FRS Ltd is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, verify receipts, and process purchase ledger direct debit payments.
  • Account Management: Enter and allocate account payments, manage customer account queries, and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Cash and Cheque Management: Prepare cash and cheques for daily banking, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Supplier Management: Process supplier payments, manage supplier invoice queries, and arrange payments to suppliers.
  • Payroll and VAT: Liaise with the pension broker, maintain life policies, and complete VAT returns.
  • Invoice and Statement Management: Send out invoices and statements to customers, and manage new supplier accounts.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
