Job Description

A259 Recruitment is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our client's Production Team at their engineering and manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake electrical modifications of electric and diesel-powered equipment to meet specifications.
  • Perform light fabrication to create mounting brackets and enclosures.
  • Populate enclosures with wiring and electrical systems according to diagrams and instructions.
  • Select and install appropriate cables and components for each project.
  • Read and interpret engineering instructions, drawings, and photographs to achieve project specifications.
  • Collaborate with the team leader and engineer to discuss project requirements.
  • Complete project documentation and maintain records.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment and maintain equipment.
Requirements:
  • Experience in panel or automotive electrical wiring.
  • Proven experience in a bespoke or low-volume varied electrical role.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering and technical drawings and processes.
  • Basic IT skills.
  • Ability to complete documentation and records in a timely manner.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and flexible attitude.
  • Strong team ethic.
  • Willingness to learn additional skills and adhere to health and safety policies.
  • Ability to work overtime when required.
