Homerton HIUS Senior Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Practitioner to join our High Intensity User Service (HIUS) team at Homerton University Hospital. The successful candidate will work closely with Homerton Psychological Medicine, providing psychiatric liaison services to the Emergency Department and inpatient wards.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with the HIU Service Lead to coordinate care for frequent attenders, including those to NHS 111 and the London Ambulance Service.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to reduce hospital admissions and improve patient outcomes.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to healthcare professionals on psychiatric liaison services.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatric liaison services, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A postgraduate qualification in a relevant field would be an advantage.
