The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Tax Associate to join our Global Tax Practice. Our team has an in-depth understanding of tax and commercial issues, and we are looking for a strong technical tax lawyer to make the most of contentious and non-contentious opportunities.

As a Tax Associate, you will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of transactions, including M&A, corporate restructuring, energy taxation, equity and debt capital markets, finance, and UK real estate. You will also have the chance to work on tax disputes and investigations with our disputes specialists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise on a broad range of transactions, including M&A, corporate restructuring, energy taxation, equity and debt capital markets, finance, and UK real estate.
  • Work on tax disputes and investigations with our disputes specialists.
  • Support the firm and others by extending effective relationships across the global network, contributing to the development of team members, upholding the firm's values, and contributing to the firm's initiatives.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
  • 2-5 years' PQE (although we are open to considering candidates with more or less experience).
  • A strong technical tax lawyer with a willingness to tackle new areas and apply knowledge and experience across a varied diet of matters.
  • Private capital and/or real estate experience is desirable but not essential.
