We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to enhance our capabilities at FactSet.   • Enhance modernization and digital transformation efforts by guiding engineering teams in adopting DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and automated deployment processes.
  • Work alongside FactSet's security teams to maintain a robust security posture for cloud services and data.
  • Provide insights and support for high availability and disaster recovery strategies for cloud-hosted services.
  • Identify and implement strategies for optimizing costs associated with cloud services.
  • Proactively address potential issues and engage relevant stakeholders early in the process.
  • Foster a client-focused culture within the team.
Essential Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience with public cloud technologies.
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional technology teams.
Critical Competencies:
  • At least 3 years of experience with AWS in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated technology leadership capabilities.
  • Experience in managing teams effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cloud Computing technologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, GoLang, Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker, as well as EC2/ASG, Serverless (Lambda), ECS/EKS.
  • Foundational understanding of AWS Networking services.
  • Familiarity with Generative AI and AI/ML tools and methodologies.
  • A strong eagerness to learn new technologies and tackle complex engineering challenges.

  • Capability to evaluate initiatives and make timely, informed decisions.
  • A proven track record as a change agent.
  • Strategic, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills.
Educational Background:
  • A Bachelor's degree in information/computer science, engineering, or a related field with a focus on IT is required.
