Production Line Leader PM Shift

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Line Leader to join our team at Pilgrims Europe in Bodmin. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines, meeting production targets, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular team briefs to staff members to ensure effective communication and alignment with production targets.
  • Coordinate daily headcount and control staff movements to optimize production efficiency.
  • Ensure good communication between team members and management, sharing information, knowledge, and advice.
  • Complete quality checks and maintain accurate records to ensure food safety and quality standards.
  • Resolve complex production issues and provide direction to the team.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reductions and implement process improvements.
  • Optimize staff utilization and streamline activities to maximize productivity.
  • Avoid customer shortages and maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Explore alternative plans to meet deadlines and ensure supply chain continuity.
  • Implement and maintain accurate area paperwork and procedures.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as requested by the Area Manager.
  • Develop own skills through Company training and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a production leadership role or equivalent.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of KPI indicators.
  • Understanding of true line efficiency, daily plans, and financial implications.
  • Ability to work under pressure and within budget parameters.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
