Electrical Engineering Manager Job Description

Are you a skilled electrical engineer looking to take your career to the next level? We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to join our team at Univar Solutions, a global leader in chemical distribution.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement comprehensive electrical safety systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Lead a team of electrical engineers in the design, development, and maintenance of electrical systems.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate electrical safety risks.
  4. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement in electrical safety.
  5. Oversee the authorization of personnel for electrical work and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in electrical engineering, with a strong background in electrical safety.
  2. Qualifications in electrical engineering, such as HNC/HND or equivalent.
  3. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate electrical safety risks.
  5. IOSH/NEBOSH certification or equivalent.
