HGV Class 1 Drivers Needed


Logistics People is actively seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team on a flexible, temporary basis. This role is based at our depot, providing an excellent opportunity to work with one of the leading companies in the logistics sector.


About the Role:
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently. You will operate modern vehicles, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
2. Adhere to driving regulations and company policies.
3. Maintain effective communication with logistics personnel.
4. Report any vehicle defects or issues promptly.


Requirements:
- Valid HGV 1/C+E Licence
- No more than 6 penalty points, with no DD/DR convictions
- Current DCPC and Tacho cards
- Understanding of Driver's hours and WTD legislation
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to health and safety standards


Working Hours:
Flexible shifts available, including days and nights.
