Key Responsibilities:
- Technology Strategy Development: Develop and maintain the overall technology roadmap and architecture framework, ensuring it aligns with business strategy and supports the company's growth objectives.
- Solution Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and develop innovative technology solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and industry best practices.
- Architectural Design: Own the design and development of enterprise-level technology solutions and systems that align with business objectives, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with key stakeholders, including business leaders, product managers, and development teams, to understand their requirements, provide guidance, and ensure effective implementation of architectural solutions.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential risks and challenges associated with technology implementations, providing recommendations and mitigation strategies to ensure a secure and stable environment.
- Standards and Best Practices: Establish and promote technology standards, methodologies, and best practices across the organization, fostering a culture of innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Industry Trends and Innovation: Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, evaluating their potential impact on Informa Tech's business and providing recommendations for adoption.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect in a similar-sized organization, with a proven track record of driving digital transformation and technology strategy.
- Skills: Significant breadth of experience with technologies such as version control systems, relational and NoSQL databases, caching, serverless and event-driven architectures, web development, JavaScript, and React.
- Personal Attitudes: Ability to work as part of a team, strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate technical ideas in non-technical terms, and a calm and measured approach when resolving conflicts or issues.
