About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team in a prison setting. As a Band 6 Mental Health Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in delivering essential NHS community mental health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health status.
  • Administer medications and monitor their effects on patients.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions such as counseling and behavioral therapies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Offer emotional support and education to patients and their families, promoting mental wellness and recovery.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Current and valid registration with the NMC.
  • Proven experience within a community recovery role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
  • Past experience working in prisons.
Working Hours and Contract Duration

This position will require you to work from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours. The contract duration is 3 months.
