About the Role

We are seeking an IT Solution Architect to oversee and lead application project teams within Western Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing deliverables of internal and external resources and may have some people coaching and development responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to identify detailed requirements, assess available solutions, recommend options, and implement solutions.
  • Act as a solution lead for the global/regional/local deployment of applications, actively engaged in service and solution detailed design, participates in and/or oversees build and test of services and solutions as appropriate.
  • Work with 3rd party partners and be a key design authority for global/regional/local application development items in their area of expertise.
  • Plan and manage the evaluation of software development processes.
  • Assist in the onboarding of internal and external development resources and other team members as part of project ramp-ups.
  • Develop and enhance application knowledge through training, networking, and participation in application User Groups.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of IT experience implementing application solutions, with experience managing and implementing application systems in a complex multinational environment.
  • Demonstrable understanding of standard package-based application solutions with the ability to apply best practices to create scalable, resilient, and agile application solutions.
  • Demonstrates understanding of strategic issues, the systems development lifecycle, and typical problems associated with the implementation of information systems.
