Financial Analyst

Vista Global, a leading business aviation group, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join its Finance Transformation team. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in the transition to a more efficient and data-driven finance function.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with ERP teams to extract, validate, and reconcile large datasets during finance transformation projects.
- Design data migration process by developing and implementing best practices for data migration activities such as extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data between legacy and new financial systems.
- Perform data mapping and ensure accurate migration of critical financial data such as Chart of Accounts (COA), vendor and customer master data, fixed assets, transaction history, and financial statements.
- Assist in the implementation of finance transformation projects, including ERP systems and other technology enhancements.
- Work closely with finance process owners to help redesign and optimize key financial processes such as financial reporting, budgeting, and period end close.
- Analyze financial data and processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement during the transformation process.
- Provide detailed financial data analysis to support key decision-makers during the finance transformation process.
- Act as a liaison between finance and IT to ensure that transformation initiatives are well-communicated and aligned with organizational goals.
- Provide clear and concise updates, reports, and presentations to senior leadership on the progress of transformation initiatives and their financial impact.
- Strong understanding of financial processes, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and general ledger management.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, with the ability to perform data analysis, data transformation, and reconciliation.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and provide value-added financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Involvement in finance transformation or system implementation projects.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field and/or a Professional Certification (e.g. ACA or ACCA).
