Position Title: Senior IT Project Manager

Location: London (on-site 4 days a week)

Compensation: Up to £80,000 plus exceptional benefits

Employment Type: Permanent

Role Summary:

The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for the initiation, oversight, and successful delivery of IT and business systems initiatives. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that projects are well-governed and adequately resourced to realize anticipated benefits across various business workstreams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and lead project management methodologies
  • Initiate and sanction new IT initiatives
  • Oversee multiple simultaneous IT projects
  • Ensure effective project delivery and benefit realization
  • Manage project budgets efficiently
  • Select and supervise project resources
  • Organize and facilitate Steering Committee and Project Review Meetings
  • Maintain effective communication with senior management

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in IT Project Management
  • Background in a Professional Services environment
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Prince2)
  • Strong financial management and budgeting capabilities
  • Experience engaging with all organizational levels
  • Proficient in managing project resources, stakeholders, and third-party vendors
  • Degree-level education
