Our client, a prominent national transportation company, is seeking skilled HGV 1 drivers to join their team in a logistics hub.

The Role

**Day Shifts:**

  • Monday to Friday
  • Start times vary
  • 1-6 drops per shift
  • 10-12 hour shifts
  • Curtain-sided palletized delivery
  • Hourly rate: £17.00

Night Shifts:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Start times vary
  • Trunking to three locations weekly: Runcorn, Yorkshire, and Northampton
  • 10-13 hour shifts
  • Hourly rate: £18.00

or

  • Sunday to Thursday
  • Start times vary
  • Trunking to Hemel Hempstead
  • Wagon and drag operations
  • 8-12 hour shifts
  • Hourly rate: £18.00

Requirements

  • Valid UK Cat C+E driver's license
  • Valid UK driver and DQC cards
  • No more than 6 endorsement points (no DD, DR, or CD endorsements)
  • Availability for ongoing work
  • Working knowledge of the Working Time Directive and Highway Code
  • Diligent vehicle checking and reporting of defects
