Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Solicitor to join our Family Department as a Regulatory Law Specialist. The successful candidate will work alongside our excellent Family Law team to provide advice and guidance to clients in all aspects of private Family Law.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage family law cases, including divorce, financial settlements, prenuptial agreements, cohabitation disputes, and private law Children Act matters.
  2. Negotiate and draft legal documents on behalf of clients.
  3. Support clients through emotional disputes.
  4. Represent clients' interests in court when negotiations fail to resolve disputes.
  5. Meet financial targets and uphold regulatory compliance.
Requirements
  1. A qualified Solicitor or hold a full CILEx qualification.
  2. A minimum of 4 years experience in Family Law.
  3. Ability to work without or with minimal supervision.
  4. Experience in advocacy and direct client contact and advice in all aspects of private Family Law.
  5. Adherence to the code of practice is essential.
  6. Willingness to train and develop more junior team members and trainee solicitors.
  7. Membership of Resolution is preferred.
  8. Experience in legally aided family work is desirable.
