Job Description

Job Title: Estates Director

Job Summary:

The Wellcome Genome Campus is seeking a highly experienced Estates Director to lead the development and operation of its renowned scientific research campus. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for the estate management of the buildings, grounds, and services within the campus, as well as the development of the estate management plan for the new expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects of estate management, including capital and lifecycle investment, and placemaking.
  • Develop and implement the estate management plan for the new expansion, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team to shape the existing campus and future phases, driving growth and innovation.
  • Provide strategic input into the development of the new campus, ensuring it meets the needs of the scientific research community.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration across the organization.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in estate leadership roles across a diverse portfolio.
  • Ability to work at both the strategic and operational level, with a strong focus on delivery.
  • Experience in a startup environment, with a willingness to adapt and evolve in a fast-paced environment.
