Job Title: Experienced Bench Joiner

Major Recruitment Newcastle is seeking a skilled and experienced Bench Joiner to join our client's team in Gateshead. This is a full-time, permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creating high-quality joinery work that meets precise standards and tolerances
  • Reviewing and interpreting technical drawings to comprehend project requirements
  • Constructing custom-made items
  • Safely operating woodworking hand tools and power tools
  • Ensuring all tasks are performed accurately and meet quality standards
Working Hours and Pay:

Monday to Friday, with specific hours and overtime available as needed.

Requirements:
  • Advanced level of bench manufacture and installation skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Knowledge of woodworking tools and different joinery techniques
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Organized, able to work individually and as part of a team, and meet deadlines
