Job Description

Maths Teacher for Secondary School

Simply Education Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join our team of educators. As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students in a secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Plan, prepare, and teach engaging maths lessons that cater to a range of abilities and promote student understanding and appreciation of mathematics.
  • Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of a comprehensive maths curriculum that aligns with national standards and the school's academic goals.
  • Student Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth and address any areas for improvement.
  • Classroom Environment: Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes active learning and ensures all students feel valued and supported.
  • Extracurricular Activities: Participate in and lead extracurricular activities such as maths clubs, competitions, and study groups to further enhance students' learning experiences.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices, contribute to departmental initiatives, and support the continuous improvement of the maths department.
  • Safeguarding and Welfare: Uphold the school's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
Desired Qualifications and Experience
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience teaching maths at the secondary school level.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to Inspire and Motivate Students: Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
  • Commitment to Inclusive and Supportive Classroom Environment: Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
  • Experience in Organising and Leading Extracurricular Activities: Experience in organising and leading extracurricular activities is highly desirable.
