Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to meet the needs of our clients and customers
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and surrounding areas
- Assist with the loading and unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles
- Represent Chartwells - Schools and maintain a positive brand image
- Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations
Requirements
- Demonstrate an ability to manage pressure, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively at all levels
- Be an excellent team player with a committed and organized approach
- Have a desire to succeed in your role and be flexible to work shifts
- Demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability
