Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our utility consultancy team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering expert advice on utility metering and siteworks services to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client and supplier relationships to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry agents, suppliers, and clients.
  • Coordinate data flow handling, exception management, and reporting.
  • Resolve data and billing queries to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Update project systems to track activity and enable reporting.
  • Collaborate with clients and suppliers to develop and improve contracts.
  • Participate in client, supplier, and industry meetings as required.
  • Develop proposals with costings aligned with company and partner delivery costs.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the utility industry, specifically the UK commercial electricity market.
  • Knowledge of connections and metering processes within the business electricity supply market.
  • Project management experience with multi-client portfolios.
  • Awareness of registration and data flow processes within the UK commercial electricity market.
  • Experience with utility network infrastructure and metering.
  • Strong negotiation and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in IT systems, including Excel, Word, SAGE, CRM, and industry databases.
  • Commercial acumen to identify opportunities and growth areas for the business.
