About the Role

ATS Recruitment is seeking a Trainee Drainage Engineer to join our team in Bournemouth. As a Trainee Drainage Engineer, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in drainage works, domestic and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair, and maintenance of customer's drains – internal and external
  • High pressure water jetting
  • CCTV surveys to trace and locate blockages
  • Internal and external works in private domestic and small commercial dwellings
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service and technical expertise
  • Operate in accordance with H&S and Quality procedures
  • Help maintain standard of company service vehicle and equipment
  • Accurately record work details via internal and client systems
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is always provided
The Requirements
  • You must have an understanding/background in drainage
  • Basic plumbing skills are an advantage
  • Relevant in-date drainage tickets, such as HPWJ, Confined Spaces are an advantage
  • CCTV camera investigation knowledge would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of drain repair (patching / lining / reinstatement works) would be an advantage
  • Successful applicants will be subject to a criminal record and DVLA check.
  • Full UK driving licence, no more than 6 points.
