Position Overview:

The role of Site Supervisor, also referred to as Lead Air Hygiene Engineer, presents an opportunity for stability, competitive remuneration, bonuses, and additional earnings through overtime. Hydro-X Air consists of specialized teams working in pairs, delivering essential ventilation duct cleaning and various air hygiene services to clients.

Work Environment:

This position is field-based, requiring travel within the designated region.

Working Hours:

The role demands a commitment of 45 hours per week, with a mix of day shifts, night shifts, and weekend work as necessary. Job scheduling aims to plan assignments up to two weeks in advance whenever feasible.

Key Responsibilities:

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, adhering to the guidelines set forth by TR19 and related company documentation to ensure all on-site work is conducted safely and without risk.

The appointed individual may be required to perform some or all of the following tasks:

  • Execute kitchen extract system cleaning and canopy cleans in compliance with TR19 Grease.
  • Conduct cleaning of ventilation systems following TR19 standards.
  • Install access doors in ventilation systems according to DW144 specifications.
  • Inspect fire dampers in accordance with BS9999 regulations.
  • Implement a preventative maintenance program as directed.
  • Manage personal equipment and chemical stock inventories.
  • Undertake additional duties related to the output of the Regional Team as needed.

Required Knowledge:

The successful candidate must possess comprehensive knowledge in the following areas:

  • Management of ventilation systems as per TR19 Grease.
  • Techniques for cleaning ventilation systems in accordance with TR19.
  • Installation of access doors in line with DW144 standards.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary range: £25,000 - £27,000, plus overtime and bonuses.

Onboarding Process:

Successful candidates will be welcomed with a two-day induction at the head office, where they will receive all necessary equipment to perform their duties, including branded workwear, a company vehicle, a tablet, and a mobile phone.

Please note that the company maintains a drug-free workplace and conducts drug testing on the first day of employment.
